A currency your server names itself
Gold, Silver, Points — it is called whatever your server already calls it. The people you name hand it out and take it back, and none of that ever leaves the record.
What it does
- The name belongs to your server
- Nothing in the bot decides what your currency is called or what it is worth.
- Handing it out is a right of its own
- It is granted person by person and kept apart from dashboard access, so whoever pays people out is not handed the rest of the server along with it.
- A leaderboard everybody can read
- Equal amounts share a place rather than being put in some arbitrary order.
- Every booking stays
- Who, whom, how much, when, why and on whose instruction — kept for good, so an argument about a payout ends in the log rather than in somebody’s memory.
- A public page, off until you want it
- A server may publish its leaderboard as a web page. It is off by default, because it puts your members’ display names on the open web.
How to set it up
- Give the currency the name your server already uses.
- Decide who may hand it out — that right is separate from dashboard access.
- They pay out and correct mistakes; members check with /balance and /leaderboard, or with ! instead of /.
- Publish the leaderboard as a web page, if and when your server wants one.
